About The Warehouse
The Warehouse has been operating in Dubai`s furniture world since 1996. Originally focusing on providing Dubai with teak wood indoor furniture, we have broadened our product range to include modern synthetic rattan and teak garden furniture, designer furniture, gazebos, umbrellas, ceiling fans, lighting and accessories. All products can be viewed at our shop on Sheikh Zayed Road.
In addition to our retail business, we have a contracts team, whose clients include many leading hotels and restaurants in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the UAE, where we have supplied our outdoor furniture and gazebos.
With the link to our own manufacturing unit in Bali, Indonesia, we offer clients custom made furniture as well as commercial designs. Gazebos, joglos and shade structures supplied and erected by The Warehouse are featured in hotels and gardens all over Dubai and the UAE.
The Warehouse was established in 1996 by interior designer Therese Foot at a time when furnishing choices in Dubai were limited and the oriental and colonial decor style was just reaching the region.
Initially offering solid teak wood interior furniture, the range grew to include other furniture and handicraft products made from natural materials, such bamboo, rattan, water hyacinth and coconut.
In 2002, the business became Falaknaz The Warehouse LLC in partnership with Abdul Rahman, Amin Falaknaz and Therese and Bruce Foot. The Falaknaz Group has an extensive business history in Dubai, specialising in property, trade and commerce over the past 30 years.
In 2020 after many years of operation, Falaknaz the warehouse was closed and the shading division transferred to the Shading Umbrella Trading Co LLC ( The Shading Company). The Shading Company operates the same warehouse team but now focusing on Umbrellas, Awnings, pergolas, shade sails and outdoor blinds.
The Shading company operates from a warehouse in Al quoz off Sheikh Zayed Road.
